Slayton Work Camp, established in 2007, is located in Mt. Olive, West Virginia. The Slayton Work Camp houses more than 429 male offenders. The West Virginia Department of Corrections runs all the correctional facilities in West Virginia. Inmates at the Slayton Work Camp indulge in various tasks in groups, such as providing labors to some government agencies.

Sending Money
The Slayton Work Camp permits offenders to receive funds deposited into either commissary or phone accounts. Phone account funds bill phone calls, computer tablet services, and electronic messaging and commissary for food and toiletries.
