High Security Center, established in 1981, is located in Cranston, Rhode Island. The High Security Center houses more than 506 male offenders. The Rhode Island Department of Corrections runs all the correctional facilities in Rhode Island. Inmates at the High Security Center indulge in various tasks in groups, such as providing labors to some government agencies.

Sending a Mail/Package to High Security Center
Inmates incarcerated in the High Security Center can only receive photos and letters from family and friends directly. The High Security Center does not permit packages such as food and games. Magazines, books, and newspapers are sent directly to the inmate from the distributor or publisher.

- High Security Center name and Correct Address

Sending Money
The High Security Center permits offenders to receive funds deposited into either commissary or phone accounts. Phone account funds bill phone calls, computer tablet services, and electronic messaging and commissary for food and toiletries. You can send the money to an inmate at the High Security Center via JPay, Telmate, and CenturyLink.
Phone Calls
The High Security Center allows an inmate to make a 30-minute call through the CenturyLink (Service provider). Inmates are expected to create an account and validate their numbers to use this entity’s services. Upon validating and funding their numbers, an inmate can even access a voicemail option.
Visitations
Inmates incarcerated at High Security Center can receive visitors. Visitors must provide their ID and ensure to dress appropriately if you plan to visit an inmate incarcerated in the High Security Center.
