DeSoto Annex, established in 1996, is located in Arcadia, Florida. The DeSoto Annex houses more than 475 male offenders. The Florida Department of Corrections runs all the correctional facilities in Florida. Inmates at the DeSoto Annex indulge in various tasks in groups, such as providing labors to some government agencies.

Inmates incarcerated in the DeSoto Annex can only receive photos and letters from family and friends directly. The DeSoto Annex does not permit packages such as food and games. Magazines, books, and newspapers are sent directly to the inmate from the distributor or publisher.

Sending Money
The DeSoto Annex permits offenders to receive funds deposited into either commissary or phone accounts. Phone account funds bill phone calls, computer tablet services, and electronic messaging and commissary for food and toiletries. You can send the money to an inmate at the DeSoto Annex via JPay, Telmate, and CenturyLink.
Phone Calls
The DeSoto Annex allows an inmate to make a 30-minute call through the CenturyLink (Service provider). Inmates are expected to create an account and validate their numbers to use this entity’s services. Upon validating and funding their numbers, an inmate can even access a voicemail option.
Visitations
Inmates incarcerated at DeSoto Annex can receive visitors. Visitors must provide their ID and ensure to dress appropriately if you plan to visit an inmate incarcerated in the DeSoto Annex.
